In May 2023, Mahorahora Bumi Nusantara was invited to the annual P4F. This is our second time joining the forum and this year’s theme is “From Deforestation to Regeneration: Transitioning Forestry’s Incumbent Industry towards a New Climate Economy”.
On the first day of the forum, Mahorahora and other sustainable businesses were able to connect with multiple investors. The highlight of this day was the Indonesia Regenerative Business Trade Dialogue hosted by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During this event, Mahorahora shared their journey of building a sustainable brown sugar company to the Indonesian embassy and other NGOs.
On the second day of the forum, many participants got to learn more about Mahorahora and the products that we distribute. Fortunately, Mahorahora received a great response and support from the P4F partners. Additionally, Mahorahora was also selected to be a speaker in session to share insights about creating a small sustainable business in Indonesia. During this session, Mahorahora spoke about the importance of developing a strong midstream and downstream system in order for small sustainable busineses like Mahorahora to grow. The participants of this session including Ibu Herlina Hartanto, KADIN, and more were enthusiastic and curious to learn more about Mahorahora’s vision and aspirations for sustainable businesses.
Overall, Mahorahora is truly grateful for this opportunity because we were able to connect with other businesses who share the same goals and visions as us. We hope for this collaboration to continue to prosper.
